Seoul Botanic Park
Seoul Botanic Park is inspired by world-renowned sites like the Eden Project in the UK and Singapore’s Botanic Gardens. It’s divided into four zones: the Open Forest, the Thematic Garden, the Lake Garden, and the Wetland. The main greenhouse, located in the Thematic Garden, has two climate zones—Mediterranean and Tropical. There are shops and cafes on the first and fourth floors of the attached building. The Wetland area connects all the way to the Han River, while the wide lawns, traditional Korean house, and lake park make it a relaxing space even without entering the paid greenhouse. Although the indoor facilities take up only a small part of the park, the place feels more like a public park—similar to Seoul Forest or Dream Forest—than a typical botanical garden. Just keep in mind that there's little shade, so it’s best to avoid visiting in the peak of summer.
