  The round-trip fare is 8,000 KRW, with a discounted rate of 7,000 KRW for children. The entire round trip takes about 30 minutes. There are two trains in total, but in practice, only one operates regularly. The second is a reserve train that is brought into service only when there is high passenger demand. Operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but on holidays, the first train departs earlier at 9:00 AM. During winter holidays, the last train is extended to 6:30 PM. Interestingly, the train has no roof and is open-air, offering a panoramic view of Gwangju city. However, this also makes the ride potentially unsettling for those with a fear of heights. The train is quite old and can creak as it moves, adding to the thrill—or anxiety—of the experience.
